Flooded and Forgotten

This was in 2009 after an insane amount of rain fell in a few short days. It flooded everything. My college was closed for weeks, because the basements in all the buildings had at least a foot of water in them. The buildings below were in the process of being torn down. They were remnants of the vast amount of warehouses in this area. A few months after this they were completely torn down. This area is now a bike path, which is also pretty cool to go to. There are places along it that are just as secluded and empty as the abandoned warehouses.
